As usual we managed to find a perfect spot to enjoy a beer, where, along with other couples - this seems to be quite the date destination, we watched the sunset and some nearby street performers. This is on Odaiba's man made beach, with part of the Tokyo skyline in the background. The funny and sort of sad thing about Tokyo is even though you are very close to the ocean, you are never aware of it, so this little man made beach is a rare treat - and probably sheer madness in the summer. Swimming however is emphatically discouraged.

on the boardwalk
