Lauren arrived Friday nite. We both had various chores that needed taking care of on Saturday, so it was not until Sunday that we got out and about. We went on a long walk from the beautiful Shinjuku gardens, past Meiji-jingu shrine, where several Shinto weddings were taking place, and finally ended up in the strange strange madness of Harajuku. A good introduction to the unique contrasts of Tokyo that can make it such a bewildering place. We are off to a temple in a bit so there is little time for details just posting a few images from our walk, and today will endeavor to get Lauren in the picture !
