Last night we went to the ALB (Asian Legal Business) Japan Law Awards, a black tie event which I have affectionatly been calling the Lawyers Ball. O's projects team won International Deal Team of the Year. The team have been working on one massive international energy project for the past two years, O from London and the others here in Tokyo. The deal was finally completed in May, so it was really nice for them to get this recognition. Afterwards O's bosses treated us all to Dom Perignon at the Grand Hyatt, which was pretty nice too.
