breakfast on the beach

salted plums, persimmons ?

It was a long weekend here, so thinking we would avoid the hills and the leaf admiring crowds, we went to the beach and more or less had what I would consider the perfect weekend. Breakfast on the beach, a moonlit stroll at nite ... We stayed in a tiny sleepy little town, Kisami, that was little more then a beach, a few guesthouses and a couple of surf shack cafes. The weather was warm & sunny during the day and crisp in the evening. The surf shack even got a fire pit going at night.

I didnt want to leave - but we came back to Tokyo Saturday night so O could go to Yokohama to play rugby on Sunday. Maybe its all that moonlight, but I am thinking he is the cutest rugby player ever.
