nappy stopWe are just back from a long weekend in the mountains above Nikko, which shares its name with one of young Marlena's. Nikko means sunlight or sunshine in Japanese and while Marlena of course is ours, Nikko the place appears to be named with a keen sense of irony. However the mist and the clouds make it lush and green and refreshingly chilly - maybe even cold - perfect weather for hiking. And ... Marlena got to break out some of her fall wardrobe. We hiked every day with Marlena content in her sling and styling in her hoodie and baby leg warmers.
