Back from another visit to the mountains above Nikko - where the leaves are about to turn. It was probably the very last window of opportunity to hike a few trails in relative quiet before the masses descend to admire the fall foliage the area is famous for. I suppose we really should branch out a bit more anyway but the trails are so beautiful and it was an extra treat to be able to share them with Margaret and of course Marlena.
