Milestone Moment II

We went away again on a bit of a road trip south of Tokyo and happened to be in Nara for a big snowstorm. Saw the temples, lanterns and even deer covered in snow and then retreated to the warmth and grace of the Nara hotel - also covered in snow - it was like a fairytale. Had to change our plans and stay on an extra day. There will be photos. As usual Marlena was a happy camper - all those ancient stairs are no place for a stroller - she was in baby Bjorn heaven. In the meantime though when left on the floor to her own devices she is pulling herself up to standing, refusing any help, balancing there with just one hand, and sometimes when appropriate waving good bye. It seems as if she has saved all her milestones for one action packed month. I don't think she has much interest in cruising along the furniture, she wants to get on with it.
