It is bitterly cold here. We are keeping to the playground-cafe circuit even on weekends. Today was a few slides and a snack at '100 yen park'. Which actually costs 200 yen - but is well worth it.

In perhaps more interesting news M is learning to say so many words now: 'see ya', yak, butterfly, and dancing are a few of my favorites. Along with 'chiwa' for konnichiwa and 'onbawa' for konbanwa. She knows her ladybugs from her porcupines. And she has us well trained for 'cc's' (biscuits) & chachies ( strawberries ) But none has proved more charming then ' yes '. After months of 'no, no, no' to be able to communicate 'yes' - it borders on life altering. Such a little word with such big potential.
