The botanical gardens, free and right in the middle of town,are open till midnight ! we have not stayed that late choosing instead to suffer it out in the midday heat - but surely we will learn.

Looks like you guys are settling in nicely. The heat and humidity will be quite an adjustment. But at least you are back in Asia. Good luck and can't wait to see more adventures.
