This is the first year we have put a bit more effort into the kids Christmas. Stockings were hung and stuffed, letter & cookies left out for Santa. It was a bit of work ... but fun. And of course the kids really enjoyed it. M was so excited, and the twins while not in on the anticipation certainly enjoyed the day. To my surprise they really grasped that certain presents were for them. After presents and breakfast we headed over to the botanics for a stroll. Later that night O and I just about managed a Christmas dinner after the kids were in bed, but I guess we had already exhausted our reserves for presentation at that point.
