The day after she arrived, we whisked Aunty K off to Bintan for one night only. Our first time there. Sigh, 45 minutes by ferry from Spore and it's great ! It is in Indonesia, so you have immigration, and lots of waiting added to the journey. But our little beach was a great spot. We stayed in 'rustic cabins' which were not really that rustic and suited us perfectly. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights, but only stayed for one as O was summonsed to Manila for a meeting. K who has now passed out on a bean bag was such a trooper and ignored jet lag on all sorts of morning ferries. Now back in Spore for the first day of the Chinese New Year it rainy and grey and oddly quiet. And everyone is sleeping.
