Later in the day at Macritchie. About two seconds after this photo… M - oh I saw a little worm popping out of its hole. Uh KIDS lets go some  place else that doesn't sound like a worm. No really it looked like a worm to me. Really how did it look? It was black and had a white stripe. 

According to my weather source the low today was 77F and the high was 88F ! Amazing. We stayed out all day. First we hit Bukit Batok where we have not been for awhile. So long in fact that there is a whole new playground replacing the previous very nice play ground. No idea why it was upgraded and no idea why we have stayed away so long because it is so beautiful. Due to a slight drizzle we had the place to ourselves. Except for the monkeys ( macaques not the kids ) flinging themselves about in the trees. We stayed so long we skipped naps, ate lunch out and then went to Macritchie in the late afternoon. The kids threw rocks in the resevoir ( oh, oops is that a bad thing ? ) and V skipped tirelessly leading us down the trail. At last a natural born hiker, hurray ! It occurred to me today ( as she was kissing plants along the boardwalk ) she is at magical age.  V are you kissing the plants ? Yes. Why ? Because they haven't had a kiss before.
