From LA, M and I took a train called the surfliner along the coast up to Santa Barbara for a very sweet and way too short visit with Aunt H. M slept half the time, which is most unlike her, as Auntie H and I strolled up and down the beautiful boardwalk. We did not see all of Santa Barbara but what we did see was gorgeous. Just before it was time to take the train back to LA, Aunt H gave M a rather fabulous outfit. Indeed it would appear to be her new favorite. This is pretty much the only hat M will wear ( that does not have to be tied down to her head) Oh and M has a favorite word too, actually it was her first ... SHOES ! She says it all day long. ( She can also say, Hi, Mama, Uh Oh and something like Bah-bye ) So ... shoes and feather boas it is !
