V victorious !

We have had a fresh round of respiratory viruses ( yes plural viruses ) making the rounds so have been keeping a low profile. Did not even have time to produce a birthday pageant for Grandmags' birthday. Happy Birthday Grandmags ! Hopefully these pictures of wee V thriving despite her cold and her big brother will bring some birthday cheer. Thought I'd take the time for a few updates on the kids. G is walking everywhere, forwards, backwards, and very fast. V is a few months away from walking but loves pushing M's old wagon. So proud of herself its adorable. She can say bah-bah and wave at the appropriate time. They are both only on finger foods now and really enjoying feeding themselves and decorating the floor. M loves her school and I do too ! This months theme is fish. They dissected and cooked one ! She decided completely on her own to take her 'Ten Little Fish' book in for show and tell. And 'read' it perfectly line for line to the class. Oh how I wish I had been there. She is starting full days a couple of days a week this week. And is very excited. She is in a big girl bed now and we are both loving that too. So sweet to tuck her in to at night. This current cold has been pretty bad but so far we have managed to stay out of hospital ! We have a doctor here who is very, very aggressive with the medicine, and I gotta say, it appears to be working. Fingers crossed. G is the one whose got it bad now.
