Fell for the old ' This way to the flower that smells like rotting flesh trick' on our morning stroll today. Only to find she/he/it had not yet matured. As a facebook friend has pointed out, it is a spectacular looking flower. But after 5 dollars and an (iphone) google search I was bracing myself for stench and flies. In full bloom it is apparently quite the botanical event. Not yet decided if I will try my luck again.
