the one frame that did not show complete terror
Our zoo membership is about to expire so we had to get in another visit. I don't know why we always think of it as some massive undertaking. It is a pretty relaxed and beautiful corner of Singapore. M's favorite bit is the merry go round, which I think is all endangered or extinct animals. Regardless it is very impressive - though V was not so sure and G sat it out on the sidelines entirely. Funny to think at their age M was sauntering around on water buffalo while G & V can tremble in fear at a super market kiddie ride. No matter, I guess they have faced more frightful things with their own brand of bravery.

and very brave they ALL are. And while we all celebrate the grit of our indomitable V and G, i suppose the beacon of bravery though will always, for me at least, be Marlena in the tiger cage with her parents demonstrating the only semblance of sanity in the threesome, voicing inaudibly~ WHAT ARE WE DOING IN A CAGE FULL OF TIGERS?
