lovely visitor center - though perhaps more style then substance
I have not abandoned my pursuit of greenery ! As such was very, happy with the help of a friend ( the same one ) to actually find where the Bukit Timah nature reserve is - somehow the entrance to this impressive, central and popular nature reserve had alluded O & I on previous outings. The reserve is named after and features Singapores' highest hill - which measures in at 163 meters. (Bukit means hill in Malay, it is a word found in a a lot of road and place names here even though there are not too many hills around) Along with some adjacent reservoirs the reserve is apparently home to over 840 types plants and over 500 species of animals. O read somewhere one of those is more then the entire north of America. Jacksonites might disagree ?

i am sure Jacksonites agree. We claim though what you surely do not have there~ bears, elk, moose and deer in the yard.
